Jo Lussier est née à Ottawa et a grandi à Québec où elle obtient un Baccalauréat en communications graphiques de l’Université Laval. Depuis 2012, elle se consacre uniquement à l’exploration visuelle sur différents types de médiums. Le corps humain et l’imprévisibilité font partie de son univers actuel.
Je vois un monde derrière chaque visage, chaque corps.
La série EXTÉRIEURS réfère à la perception initiale de l’autre, cette intention que l’on attribue après un simple regard.
La série INTÉRIEURS est née d’une absence. À l’inverse, elle tente de figer des espaces émotifs intimes dans leur caractère universel.

Born in Ottawa and raised in Quebec City, Jo Lussier graduated from Laval University with a Bachelor of Arts in graphic communications. Since 2012, she focuses solely on visual exploration on a variety of mediums. The human body and unpredictability are part of her daily world.

The EXTÉRIEURS series makes tangible the initial perception of the other, this intention that is attributed after a simple look.
The INTÉRIEURS series is born of an absence. Conversely, it tries to freeze intimate emotional spaces in their universal character.
